About the position

As a per diem Pharmacy Technician at CPS Solutions, LLC, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role involves preparing, delivering, and restocking medications, performing order entry, procuring drugs, and billing. You will also assist nursing staff with medication passes to patients as needed, ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and restock medications.
• Perform order entry and procure drugs.
• Assist in billing processes.
• Occasionally assist nursing staff with medication passes to patients.
• Follow written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (PPD).
• Documentation of MMR immunity or a blood titer proving immunity.
• Documentation of Varicella immunity or two documented doses.
• Influenza vaccination required for hire between October 1st and April 30th.
• Respirator FIT Mask Test.
