Operationally, you will assist in the pharmacy's daily functions, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and maintaining workflow. You will report any prescription errors to the pharmacist and adhere to company policies regarding quality improvement. Additionally, you will handle cash transactions, assist customers in locating products, and manage telephone calls that do not require the pharmacist's attention. Your role may also involve supporting inventory management activities and assisting in clinical services, such as collecting and labeling samples from patients. Training and personal development are key components of this position. You will be expected to earn and maintain your PTCB certification and participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
