As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in transforming the pharmacy experience from a transaction-based environment to a more patient-centric one. In this role, you will assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, performing various pharmacy department duties in compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations. You will be responsible for utilizing pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with coaching pharmacy technicians and cashiers. Your focus will be on delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. You will also assist in operational tasks such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and maintaining workflow, while adhering to the Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct. Additionally, you will be involved in training and personal development, earning and maintaining your PTCB certification through the designated training program.
