You will also engage with customers, providing assistance and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience. The position requires a commitment to customer service excellence, as you will model best practices and develop strong relationships with valued customers. Your operational duties will involve entering patient and drug information accurately, filling prescriptions, and maintaining workflow in collaboration with the pharmacy team. Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty immediately.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register and handle cash as required.
• Assist in inventory management activities, including ordering and unpacking pharmaceuticals.
• Assist pharmacists in administering clinical services, including sample collection.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community.
• Ensure the Pharmacy Department is stocked, clean, and orderly in condition and appearance.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy under supervision.
• Basic computer skills to operate pharmacy systems effectively.
