About the position

The Pharmacy Technician at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center plays a vital role in supporting pharmacists by preparing, labeling, and delivering medications. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with regulations and policies while contributing to the health and well-being of the community. The role requires effective communication and adherence to safety goals, making it a key part of the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation, labeling, and delivery of medications.
• Ensure compliance with Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Adhere to INTEGRIS Health policies and procedures.
• Complete Phase I Training within 1 week of hire and ongoing Phase II Training within 90 days of receiving the permit.
• Communicate effectively with caregivers and patients.

Requirements

• Current Permit or formal training as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Permit issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy must be received within 30 days of hire for those without a current license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
• Effective communication skills in English.
