Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
- Model excellent patient care by engaging with patients and meeting their needs, including processing orders in person and by phone.
- Maintain a clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
- Assist team members with tasks to ensure efficient department operations.
- Use pharmacy computer systems to maximize efficiency and provide optimal patient care.
- Assist in improving outcomes using knowledge of service and business metrics.
- Execute company initiatives and programs effectively.
- Complete required training program and exams.
- Follow all company, state, and federal policies, including HIPAA regulations.
- Finalize sales using the cash register according to established procedures.
- Transcribe data from prescriptions accurately to generate custom labels.
- Maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies.
- Answer telephone inquiries politely and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns effectively.
- File written prescriptions daily.
Requirements
- 0 to 6 months of experience in a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 18 years of age.
