About the position

The Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients by assisting with prescription management and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Responsibilities

• Assist in managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the timely and accurate filling of prescriptions.
• Provide compassionate customer service to patients and customers.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical conduct at all times.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to state guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or be actively enrolled in a high school equivalency program.
• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age and licensure/certification.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems related to prescriptions.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• PTCB National Certification.
