Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide compassionate care and service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate ethical conduct at all times.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to your State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines.
• Assist in managing medication needs and regulatory compliance standards for patients.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks without being distracted.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to help people in a friendly manner.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems related to prescriptions.
• Ability to recognize and resolve problems effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
