About the position

As a Back-End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients in skilled nursing facilities and chronic care settings. Responsibilities

• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients.
• Work in various assigned pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, and Omnicell Cycle Fill.
• Package and dispense medication accurately.
• Review delivery orders and bins for accuracy.
• Coordinate stock rotations and manage inventory.
• Receive product deliveries and stage products for distribution.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.

Requirements

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• PTCB National Certification.
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
