About the position
Actalent is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to perform various administrative tasks, assist the pharmacist-in-charge and other pharmacy staff, and support order filling. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in handling prescriptions and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with various administrative tasks in the pharmacy.
- Support the pharmacist-in-charge and other pharmacy staff as needed.
- Assist with order filling and cycle fills remotely from a store.
- Perform data entry, customer service, and labeling.
- Handle prior authorization and order entry.
- Verify up to 300 scripts per shift.
- Multitask effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Communicate strongly and effectively with team members.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) License.
- Strong computer skills including typing, Excel, and Word.
- Dependability and strong attention to detail.
- Analytical thinking and ability to follow directions.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual abilities are strongly preferred.
