Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions accurately and promptly.
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients and customers, exceeding their expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate ethical conduct at all times.
  • Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to state guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Licensure requirements vary by state.
  • Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to assist customers in a friendly manner.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
  • Mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems related to prescriptions.
  • Problem resolution skills to identify and address issues as they arise.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • PTCB National Certification.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
