Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions accurately and promptly.
• Provide compassionate care and service to patients and customers, exceeding their expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate ethical conduct at all times.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• Must be at least 16 years of age if no minimum age requirement is specified by the state board of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction (Attention and Focus).
• Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and ability to understand customer reactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with active listening capabilities.
• Mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems related to prescriptions.
• Problem resolution skills to identify and address issues effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.
