Responsibilities
- Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to state guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Licensure requirements vary by state.
- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks without distraction.
- Customer service orientation to actively help people in a friendly manner.
- Strong communication skills for verbal and written interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems related to prescriptions.
- Problem resolution skills to identify and address issues effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- PTCB National Certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
