Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by delivering health and wellness services relevant to the patient.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding health and safety.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and customer waiting areas.
• Perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management and control.
• Complete billing procedures to assure best value to customers and the company.
• Answer phone inquiries and triage calls appropriately.
• Understand and adhere to guidelines on accepting vendor coupons and managing cash transactions.
• Provide a stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist the pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgment.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform job functions.
• Any previous comparable experience is desired.
• Familiarity with EPRN is preferred.
• Ability to comply with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a pharmacy clerk or equivalent role is preferred.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
• Experience working in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
