The Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients by assisting with prescription management and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Responsibilities

• Assist in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks effectively.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and meet all state requirements.
• Support the pharmacy team in ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws.

Requirements

• Must have a valid PTCB Certification or be willing to obtain one.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Mathematical reasoning skills for prescription calculations.
• Problem resolution skills to address issues as they arise.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• PTCB National Certification preferred.
