About the position

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at One Medical. The role focuses on providing exceptional patient care and support in clinical settings, ensuring high standards of service and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services to patients of all ages
• Collect and process non-blood specimens, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
• Assist with clerical duties such as answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting providers with billing inquiries and DOH reporting
• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience
• Perform front-of-house duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and prepping tests
• Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, and participating in problem-solving

Requirements

• Active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA
• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
