Responsibilities

• Cover assigned territory to perform phlebotomy duties within Patient Service Centers or doctor's offices as needed.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees, serving as a resource advisor and point of contact for staff on site.
• Travel to additional doctor's offices or Patient Service Centers when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum of three years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
