About The Position

Requirements

• Hold a Medical Technical Certificate (Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, Laboratory Technician, etc.) in the state of Minnesota with a minimum of 3 years full-time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years.
• Provide a copy of phlebotomy certificate upon request.
• Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school in a field directly related to the program teaching.
• Provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request.
• A combination of post-secondary education and full-time experience equivalent to 3 years is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver the curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation.
• Maintain productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
