About the position

The Mobile Phlebotomist role at Vitalant is essential for facilitating blood donation experiences in the community. This position involves conducting blood drives in various locations, ensuring donor comfort, and performing blood draws. The role is full-time, with a Monday to Friday schedule, and includes comprehensive training for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Keep blood donors comfortable and informed during the donation process.
• Perform blood draws, with training provided.
• Travel to various locations for blood drives and donation centers.
• Assist the donor care team in creating a positive donation experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Experience in laboratory settings is preferred.
