The Phlebotomist will also be responsible for maintaining infection control and safety protocols, as well as ensuring that all procedures are conducted in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities
- Draw blood from patients with minimum discomfort and pain.
- Perform various blood and chemical analyses as required.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an approved phlebotomy training program.
- Current venipuncture certificate and license required.
- Current BLS Certification by AHA is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a laboratory at a multi-specialty clinic is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control, and safety protocols is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with considerable walking.
- Good visual acuity and motor coordination are necessary.
- Strong clinical skills and adaptability are required.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions are needed.
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and typing, are essential.
