About the position

The Sales Tech I position at Turn5 is a remote role focused on assisting automotive enthusiasts in purchasing aftermarket parts for their vehicles. This role is essential in guiding customers through their buying experience, ensuring they find the best products to create their dream builds. Responsibilities

  • Handle customer communication via calls, text messages, emails, and online chats regarding automotive accessory orders, product inquiries, and returns.
  • Make outbound calls and text messages to existing customers to follow up on sales leads and close sales.
  • Take inbound calls, text messages, tickets, and chats from any/all queues as needed and directed by the leadership team.
  • Use excitement and product knowledge to sell automotive accessories.
  • Suggest corresponding modifications to enhance the customer's vehicle based on sales in one category.
  • Build rapport with customers to foster repeat business, including service-related issues.
  • Display a professional, courteous demeanor towards customers while providing prompt, efficient service for all inquiries.
  • Efficiently enter and process orders, returns, and customer inquiries.
  • Answer questions and educate customers, providing purchasing suggestions as necessary.
  • Utilize all available programs to achieve bi-weekly sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Meet performance expectations regarding customer service quality, customer contacts, and revenue targets.
  • Notify Sales leadership team of trends or problems encountered.
  • Continue education through company-sponsored programs to improve expertise in all supported vehicles.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to acquire automotive knowledge in all supported vehicles.
  • Excellent sales ability and some product knowledge or ability to learn.
  • Ability to maintain attendance as defined by company policy.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and use tact when dealing with difficult customers.
  • Proficiency in computer keyboarding and internet skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Must have a reliable PC and sufficient internet speed to be effective in the role.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Successful completion of the Turn5 sales new hire training program upon hire.
  • Must reside in specified states (PA, OH, MD, VA, SC, GA, FL, MS, KS, TX, AR, WI, MN, IN, NV, or UT).
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
