About the position

The Photo Etch Inspector position is responsible for verifying the quality of parts through visual inspection and dimensional verification according to documented criteria. The role involves removing parts from sheets and packaging them for shipment, ensuring compliance with company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify the quality of parts by visual inspection and dimensional verification.
• Read and follow instructions on a traveler and other company documentation to complete required tasks.
• Accurately fill out company documentation to record manufacturing lot information and measurements.
• Inspect parts using a microscope to determine conformance with inspection criteria.
• Measure material thickness using drop gauges and handheld micrometers.
• Use handheld tools to form metal parts.
• Remove parts from a sheet using scissors, clippers, or hand-powered cut-off tools.
• Identify and recommend inspection improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
• Strong time management skills with attention to detail.
• Organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
