About the position
The Corporate Academy at JD Finish Line is an internal internship program designed to provide dedicated employees with hands-on experience in various corporate departments. This 10-week program aims to develop internal talent by offering opportunities in areas such as Merchandising, Marketing, Digital Operations, Supply Chain, and IT. The program emphasizes learning and development, career coaching, and networking with executive leadership, ultimately preparing participants for future corporate roles.
Responsibilities
- Participate in hands-on experience across various departments including Merchandising, Marketing, Digital Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.
- Engage in cross-functional training and professional development activities.
- Attend informational sessions with executive leadership.
- Network with professionals and peers through extracurricular activities.
- Receive career coaching from HR professionals and participate in professional training sessions.
Requirements
- Internal employee in good standing from Retail Stores, Distribution Center, or Customer Care.
- No formal education required, but a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Google G-Suite.
- Preferred intermediate working knowledge of Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- Obtained or pursuing a degree in photography, creative, or related field for the Photo Studio Intern.
- Past experience with photography, retouching, or digital.
