About the position

The photographer/videographer position at Ski Sundown is a key role within the marketing team, focused on capturing and delivering high-quality photos and videos that reflect the unique Ski Sundown experience. This role not only enhances the brand's visual identity but also offers a valuable opportunity for portfolio development, along with free skiing privileges.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos that represent the Ski Sundown experience.
• Edit and produce video content using software such as Premiere Pro.
• Work independently to meet deadlines and manage varying priorities.
• Engage with the public to promote the Ski Sundown brand through visual storytelling.
• Adapt to seasonal needs, including working during evenings, holidays, weekends, and snow events.
• Utilize personal high-quality mirrorless or DSLR camera and equipment for all shoots.

Requirements

• One year of professional training in photography/videography.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• High proficiency in using professional cameras for both video and still photography.
• Up-to-date knowledge of video/photo editing software, specifically Premiere Pro.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with the public.
• Intermediate to advanced skiing or snowboarding skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with drone and Go-Pro equipment.
