About the position

IntelliBridge is seeking a Junior Photographer/Video Producer to support the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). This role involves providing videography and photography services for various events, ensuring high-quality video production that aligns with the bureau's strategic communications goals. The position requires both on-site and remote work, with a focus on storytelling through video content that promotes U.S. national security and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for videography for an average of seven events per week, using ECA's professional digital equipment.
  • Film and edit professional videos using Adobe Creative Suite, with quick turnaround times for important events.
  • Produce a variety of video content, including interviews, event recaps, and social media videos, ensuring alignment with strategic messaging.
  • Execute full production plans, including creative concept development, production scheduling, and script drafting.
  • Direct talent or interview subjects for video packages, ranging from students to high-profile officials.
  • Create video process guides and conduct training sessions for program offices on effective storytelling through video.
  • Ensure all videos are captioned and compliant with 508 standards.
  • Foster a positive customer experience through clear and timely communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a video producer with a focus on digital content.
  • Bachelor's degree in creative arts or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advise senior leaders on video production.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expert-level experience working on Macs.
  • Experience in broadcast video editing.
  • Background in integrated communication campaigns and public diplomacy.
  • Knowledge of current trends in technology and video content.
  • Experience in creating animations and mixed media for video production.
