AGI (Authentic Gem Imports), based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a talented Photographer & Graphic Design Specialist to join our dynamic team. Our specialization in Loose Precious Gemstones, Luxe One of a Kind Jewelry, and the latest trends in Fine Jewelry has established us as a leader in the industry since 1978. We exclusively supply to leading independent retailers across North America, and our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction is paramount. In this role, you will be responsible for leading impactful projects that enhance our brand's presence both online and offline. As a Photographer & Graphic Design Specialist, you will organize and lead photo shoots, capturing both product and lifestyle shots, and enhance photo and lighting setups to achieve optimal results. You will also be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies, creating and curating content, and managing marketing assets that align with our brand identity. Your role will involve updating our website and iPad sales ordering catalog, ensuring user-friendly B2B shopping experiences, and maintaining digital platforms with current and appealing content. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead photo shoots, capturing both product and lifestyle shots.
• Enhance photo and lighting setups to achieve optimal results.
• Photograph and edit images of new jewelry and loose gemstone products using Photoshop.
• Produce videos for collection drops and product demonstrations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for AGI's brands across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Create, curate, and schedule content, including videos and photography.
• Conduct competitor and internal audits to stay ahead of market trends.
• Engage with the online community and track key performance metrics to drive B2B engagement with retail store partners and prospects.
• Design and send bi-monthly product and company update emails via Mailchimp.
• Create and update digital and physical marketing assets around brand identity, collection/product launches, packaging, and event collateral marketing.
• Enhance UI/UX for user-friendly B2B shopping based on competitor analysis.
• Update product inventory and content on websites and iPads, including data entry and copy-writing using Excel.
• Maintain digital platforms, ensuring current and appealing collection banners, product photos, and navigation menus.
• Work closely with internal sales and product development teams to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
• Manage and delegate tasks to overseas support teams to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Portfolio showcasing self-created design work and/or photography.
• Strong preference for previous photography and design industry experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of creative/marketing support experience in an office environment.
• Proficient in applying design skills (ideation, color theory, typography, imagery, texture) to both print and web media.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing, web, and mobile technologies.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with social media tools such as Later.com and Hootsuite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with website publishing platforms (e.g., Magento, WordPress, Shopify) and/or knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• DSLR photography experience is a plus.
