About the position
The Photographer/Sales Associate at Mystic Aquarium is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while capturing memorable photo experiences for visitors. This part-time role involves engaging with guests, operating photography equipment, and ensuring smooth photo operations in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs
- Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively
- Engage in a friendly manner with all guests, staff, and coworkers
- Operate POS system and photography equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Perform all other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player who can work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in natural weather conditions
- At least 16 years of age
