About the position
The Photographer/Sales Associate at Photogenic, Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while capturing memorable photo experiences for customers at the Phoenix Zoo Lights event. This part-time role involves engaging with guests, operating photography equipment, and ensuring smooth photo operations in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
- Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage in a friendly manner with all guests, staff, and coworkers.
- Operate POS system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team player who can work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in natural weather conditions.
- At least 16 years of age.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required.
