About the position

The Photographer/Videographer position at Dodge Ridge is a seasonal role focused on capturing high-quality photographs and videos on the mountain. This position requires expert skiing or riding abilities, along with experience in on-snow photography and videography. The role emphasizes strong time management, self-supervision, and effective communication skills, as the individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects that support the marketing objectives of the Dodge Ridge brand.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a safe skiing/boarding example to the public.
• Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines to support the marketing department.
• Arrange scenes and shots, select shooting angles, and determine illumination for photography and videography.
• Work flexible schedules, including early morning duties as requested.
• Deliver excellent customer service by interacting courteously with guests and answering questions professionally.
• Communicate professionally and friendly with other departments.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional workstations.
• Follow all Dodge Ridge Handbook Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

• Expert skier/rider with 3-5 years of experience in the ski industry and sport photography/videography.
• Extensive knowledge of photography equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of relevant software programs.
• Ability to operate and maintain various photography equipment, including cameras and Mac Pro.
• Well-groomed with a good public image.
• Safety and risk-oriented mindset.
