About the position

The Photographer/Videographer & Editor at Camden Homes is responsible for capturing and producing high-quality visual content that showcases the craftsmanship and design of homes. This role involves both photography and videography, requiring a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. The ideal candidate will document homes from concept to completion, creating engaging visuals for various media platforms while collaborating with the marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Capture professional-grade photos and videos of homes, construction progress, and final builds.
• Take interior and exterior shots that highlight architectural details, design elements, and overall craftsmanship.
• Plan, shoot, and produce short-form videos to showcase new homes, client testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce engaging visual content for social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
• Edit and retouch photos to ensure high-quality visual presentation, including color correction, exposure adjustments, and image enhancement.
• Edit video footage into polished, cohesive stories, incorporating music, voiceovers, and effects as needed.
• Organize and manage a digital library of media assets, ensuring accessibility for marketing and sales teams.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity across all content.

Requirements

• Proven experience in both photography and videography, with a strong portfolio of home, architecture, or real estate work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other relevant editing software.
• Ability to tell a story visually, with a focus on detail, composition, and style.
• Knowledge of lighting, framing, and shooting techniques specific to architectural photography.
• Familiarity with drones for aerial photography/videography (optional but preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in the home building, construction, or real estate industry.
• Drone pilot certification for aerial photography and videography.
• Strong graphic design skills.
