About the position

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Photographer to join our vibrant team at a gym-based streetwear brand. As our Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing captivating photos for our social media channels, advertisements, and behind-the-scenes content. In addition, you will play a key role in finding models and contributing to the branding direction across our social channels. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your photography skills, creativity, and contribute to the growth of our brand. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the brand's vision and requirements for photoshoots. You will plan and execute professional photoshoots, both in-studio and on-location, ensuring the shots align with our brand's aesthetic and message. Your ability to capture high-quality images that effectively communicate the essence of our gym-based streetwear brand will be crucial, focusing on social media channels, advertisements, and behind-the-scenes content. You will assist in finding suitable models for photoshoots, ensuring they align with our brand's target audience and image. Additionally, you will contribute to the branding direction across social channels by providing input on visual storytelling and maintaining brand consistency. Editing and retouching photos to enhance their quality and impact, while adhering to brand guidelines, will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, you will continuously bring fresh ideas to the table to elevate our photography and brand visuals. Collaboration with the social media team will ensure a cohesive visual presence across all platforms, and you will maintain and organize photography equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the branding direction across social channels by providing input on visual storytelling and maintaining brand consistency.
• Edit and retouch photos to enhance their quality and impact, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, continuously bringing fresh ideas to the table to elevate our photography and brand visuals.
• Collaborate with the social media team to ensure a cohesive visual presence across all platforms.
• Maintain and organize photography equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Photographer, preferably within the fashion, streetwear, or fitness industry.
• Proficient in photography equipment and software, including DSLRs, lighting setups, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your photography skills, with a focus on lifestyle, fashion, or brand-related content.
• Knowledge of composition, lighting techniques, and post-production editing to achieve desired visual effects.
• Ability to find and work with models, directing them to achieve the desired look and feel for photoshoots.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and the ability to contribute to branding direction across these channels.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to convey ideas and concepts to team members and models.
• Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular business hours, as needed.
• Passion for streetwear fashion, fitness, and an understanding of current trends.
