About the position

In this role as a Photographer/Videographer at Inflow, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality digital media services in support of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Defense (DoD). Your primary responsibilities will include capturing and editing photographs and videos for various events, including official meetings, retirements, and ceremonies. You will be expected to produce high-quality images and videos that may be used in a variety of formats, including magazines, websites, and social media platforms. This position requires a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, as well as experience with Nikon digital cameras. You will work closely with government officials, providing creative direction and ensuring that all visual media meets the required standards for quality and confidentiality. Your role will also involve maintaining a photo archive, providing photography support for internal publications, and ensuring that all deliverables are met on time. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling sensitive information with discretion and ensuring compliance with all security protocols related to classified materials. As part of a national security services firm, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while contributing to the mission of supporting government operations. Responsibilities

  • Photograph indoor and outdoor events, including group shots and portraits.
  • Quickly edit photos for printed and electronic communication materials.
  • Provide videography support and edit videos for various purposes.
  • Create and edit short videos for internal sites and social media platforms.
  • Provide audio recording and editing for podcasts.
  • Maintain a photo archive and ensure quality products are delivered.
  • Handle confidential and classified information appropriately.
  • Respectfully provide creative direction to government officials regarding photography and videography needs.
  • Provide photography support for internal stories and publications.
  • Ensure timely status updates on deliverables and timelines.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of photography and videography experience.
  • Experience photographing events and portraits.
  • Videography experience, including editing and using motion graphics.
  • Proficient in using Nikon digital cameras.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience uploading visual media to YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Ability to travel to events as needed.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • AS or AA degree in a related field.
  • Graphic design experience preferred.
  • BS/BA degree is highly desired.
  • Experience using audio equipment including microphones and teleprompters.
