About the position

ROGERCO, Inc. is seeking a Photographer/Videographer with Podcasting Experience to support the Army Futures Command in Austin, Texas. This role involves managing the entire podcast process, including planning, creation, production, and distribution, while also providing high-quality photographic and video services. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-driven, and possess a valid SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality professional photographic or video services.
• Take formal portraits of official personnel for authorized release, arranging lighting, backdrops, and poses to increase artistic effect.
• Produce and direct digital visual information products including still photography and video presentations.
• Scriptwriting, editing, and reviewing podcast scripts to ensure quality and consistency in messaging.
• Recording and editing audio files for podcast episodes.
• Designing and creating show notes, social media plans/posts, and other promotional materials to accompany podcast episodes.
• Developing and managing podcast marketing strategies to increase audience engagement and growth.
• Collaborating with other departments or external partners to create engaging and relevant content for the podcast.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and changes in podcast technology to ensure the podcast remains competitive and innovative.
• Managing timelines and resources to ensure smooth production and delivery of podcast episodes.
• Monitoring and analyzing podcast performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Communicating through journalistic writing, copy writing/editing, and scriptwriting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 6 years of experience in videography and podcasting.
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• Professional experience with recording equipment and software.
