Prolens Studios is seeking a passionate Photographer/Videographer to join their dynamic team in Philadelphia. This role offers flexible scheduling and a commission-based pay structure, allowing individuals to manage their own calendar and earn competitive commissions on bookings. The position involves working in a professional studio environment and provides opportunities for creative freedom and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own calendar and schedule shoots according to availability.
  • Capture high-quality photographs and videos for various projects including portraits, events, fashion, and product shoots.
  • Edit and enhance images and videos using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Engage with clients to understand their vision and deliver outstanding results.
  • Collaborate with makeup artists, stylists, and other creatives in the industry.
  • Handle client bookings, payments, and scheduling, focusing on the craft of photography/videography.
  • Travel for special projects and events as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional photography or videography experience with an existing clientele base and portfolio.
  • Ownership of professional-grade photography or videography equipment (camera, lenses, laptop/tablet).
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client relations skills to engage with clients and understand their vision.
  • Reliability and professionalism in delivering quality work on time.
  • Adaptability to take on various shoots and styles of photography/videography.
  • Availability for travel for special projects, both locally and out of state.
  • Possession of an Employer Identification Number (EIN) to work as an independent contractor.
  • Attention to detail with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and framing.
