About the position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled photographer/videographer to join our team at Gordy's Sichuan Cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in videography, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for capturing high-quality visual content. This role is responsible for producing engaging videos for a variety of applications, including promotional materials. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of video production, from conceptualization to post-production, ensuring that the final product meets the high standards expected by our clients. In this position, you will plan and execute all aspects of video production, which includes conducting on-site filming and utilizing a range of cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to capture high-quality footage. While having your own camera is preferred, it is not strictly necessary if the quality of your phone's camera is sufficient. You will also be responsible for editing and assembling footage, applying color theory and photography skills to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the final product. Thorough reviews of footage will be conducted to make necessary adjustments, ensuring a polished and professional finish. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with clients to ensure their vision is captured and their needs are met. Additionally, you will manage and maintain a portfolio of completed projects, showcasing your work and the quality of visual content produced for the cafe. This position is ideal for a creative and technical individual who is passionate about food photography and videography and possesses a strong work ethic.
