About the position

The Photographer/Videographer role is a part-time, contract position focused on creating high-quality product imagery and videos for various marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative environment, demonstrating strong technical skills in photography and videography, as well as a keen eye for detail. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to the visual branding of Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging shots and videos for use on the website, email marketing, and social media.
• Prepare sets and photographic equipment as needed.
• Understand visual details to ensure each part of an image contributes to its effectiveness.
• Edit photos to produce high-quality imagery.
• Show initiative and creativity as part of a team.
• Maintain the digital asset library and the integrity of folder structures.
• Check that all files adhere to asset naming conventions.
• Develop a branded look and feel for the photos and videos for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
• Develop processes with the Head of Marketing to ensure efficiency.

Requirements

• Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop and Light Studio.
• Strong retouching techniques and an eye for detail.
• Technical photographic skills and ability to set up studio lighting.
• Good knowledge of photography and lighting equipment.
• Self-motivation to hit deadlines and initiative to work as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of color correction.
• Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for staying updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to proactively manage your own workload and meet all deadlines.
