About the position

The Photographer/Videographer at Vye Agency is responsible for creating engaging editorial and interactive media content. This role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to produce high-quality videos and photographs, while also incorporating motion graphics. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and the ability to manage projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring that all work aligns with client branding and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit high-quality video and photography content that adheres to client branding.
  • Create and incorporate motion graphics into video projects.
  • Prepare shot lists and collaborate with the internal team to ensure all necessary content is captured.
  • Manage video production setups, including capturing interviews and b-roll footage.
  • Conduct photoshoots for various purposes, including headshots and lifestyle shoots.
  • Execute department initiatives that support client goals with measurable outcomes.
  • Stay updated on video/photo technology trends, including AI tools.
  • Oversee design elements from concept to final delivery, including mood boards and presentations.
  • Coordinate production timelines and manage time and budget constraints across projects.
  • Provide creative mentorship and feedback to team members to enhance project quality.
  • Ensure quality, error-free work is presented to clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a videographer, photographer, or multimedia producer, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite, especially Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
  • Strong collaborative skills in ideation and feedback, with the ability to articulate the creative process.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graphic design skills
  • Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Asana
  • Ability to fly a drone (e.g., DJI Mavic)
  • Broadcast experience
