About the position

The PHP Backend Developer at FBS is a full-time role focused on building and maintaining data infrastructure and processes for managing large amounts of data. The developer will work primarily with remote teammates and contribute to the company's innovative real estate software products, including Flexmls and Spark Platform.

Responsibilities

• Write and enhance background processes for data management.
• Maintain and manipulate large datasets.
• Collaborate with remote teammates on various projects.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and code reviews.
• Utilize version control workflows for code management.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in PHP programming.
• Proficiency in SQL (Postgres, DB2, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Memcached).
• Experience with object-oriented PHP and software architecture.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as PHPUnit.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Symfony and Laravel components.
