About the position

The PHP Developer position is a remote role focused on designing, developing, and enhancing web applications using PHP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in PHP, and will be responsible for creating dynamic web applications with rich visualizations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance web applications using PHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for reporting dashboards.
• Implement data visualization libraries and frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) to create interactive and user-friendly dashboards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Master's preferred, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on PHP.
• Proficiency in building web applications with a strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow.
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
