About the position

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking two Full Stack Enterprise Web Developers for a long-term contract with a client. In this role, you will join a high-performing Agile team working on a client-facing web portal application. The tech stack for this position includes Angular, PHP, and the Laravel framework. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Angular 2+, with a preference for versions 8 or 9. Additionally, recent hands-on experience with PHP version 8 is desired, particularly in the context of the Laravel framework. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of innovative web solutions that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client-facing web portal applications using Angular, PHP, and Laravel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Implement best practices in software development and ensure code quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ (versions 8/9 preferred).
• Recent hands-on experience with PHP version 8.
• Experience with the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
