About the position

The PHP Developer at Aircraft Performance Group will be responsible for developing new features and supporting existing products for aviation customers. This role requires a strong background in OOP PHP development, along with hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The ideal candidate will actively participate in all stages of product development and implement best practices while ensuring accuracy and responsibility in task completion.

Responsibilities

• Development of new features for aviation customers
• Support of the existing product
• Implementation of best practices
• Active participation at all stages of product development
• In-depth study of the product and aviation area
• Performing investigations, code reviews, and other analytical activities

Requirements

• 4+ years of previous experience in OOP PHP development
• Hands-on programming experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with PHP 7 and 8
• Strong knowledge of OOP
• Strong knowledge of MySQL
• Experience with tools like Git/SVN
• Self-motivation and result orientation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Understanding of Scrum methodology
• Accuracy and responsible approach to completing tasks

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Node.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS
• Degree in Computer Science or applied mathematics
