About the position
As a PHP Developer at Robert Half, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, particularly in the e-commerce sector. This position requires collaboration with various teams to create user-friendly and scalable applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Magento. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality, implementing tests, and staying updated with the latest technologies in the PHP ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into user-friendly and scalable PHP applications.
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain highly performant and secure web applications adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, ensuring code quality and stability.
- Implement unit and integration tests, leveraging expertise in SQL databases and relevant frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the PHP ecosystem and related technologies.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience in PHP development with knowledge of frontend, backend, and/or full stack.
- Demonstrated coding ability in a portfolio or sample project.
- API integrations with payment gateways and other third-party services.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
