About the position

FYI - For Your Information, Inc. is seeking a PHP Developer to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of in-house business applications that support various departments including Corporate Sales, Operations, and Finance. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, developing software solutions, and maintaining existing applications. This position requires on-site work five days a week and offers opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technology/capability gaps and develop software solutions.
• Work with project leads to define sprints and deliverables.
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code.
• Conduct integration, testing, bug fixes, and software maintenance activities.
• Perform requirements analysis and create proofs of concept as needed.
• Support applications in O&M status with enhancements and bug fixes.
• Code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Develop user interfaces and applications throughout the development life cycle.
• Integrate platforms leveraging APIs.
• Create technical documentation and user guides for developed software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years education in Computer Science or similar field.
• 3 or more years of PHP web development experience.
• 2 or more years of experience with Laravel Framework.
• 2 or more years of experience with MySQL and/or MSSQL.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in all phases of SDLC, OO analysis and design, and revision control systems.
• Ability to structure a software project (UI / API / DB).
