About the position

The PHP Developer will be responsible for migrating legacy Cold Fusion applications to modern platforms, providing software design and development services, and managing software deployments through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). The role involves developing solutions on the SuiteCRM low code platform and requires extensive experience in PHP, MySQL, and related technologies. The position is crucial for the development of the ASO's Target Architecture and involves working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Cold Fusion applications to modern platforms.
• Provide software design and development services.
• Develop web applications and documentation to support migration.
• Perform Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for software deployments.
• Develop software solutions using PHP, MySQL, and Apache.
• Develop solutions on the SuiteCRM low code platform.
• Report on software project specifications, activities, and status.
• Complete documentation tasks as required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in software development.
• Proficiency in ColdFusion, LAMP stack, JavaScript, MySQL, and Linux.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Version control experience using GIT or similar tools.
• Ability to connect to and navigate Linux systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with custom-build PHP applications in production.
• Understanding of web-application security and testing practices.
• Experience with automating deployments using Ansible.
• System administration experience on Windows.
• Knowledge of penetration testing and static code analysis.
• Experience with 508 compliance implementation and front-end testing.
• Familiarity with automated scripted testing using Selenium or JMeter.
• Experience with JIRA or similar project tracking tools.
• Knowledge of federal government IT security standards.
• Experience with SuiteCRM/SugarCRM.
