About the position

The PHP Developer at Glow Networks is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PHP frameworks and a solid grasp of database design and web services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance user experience.
• Design and optimize SQL databases for application performance.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
• Participate in Agile development processes and Scrum methodologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of strong experience in PHP and related web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Proficient in SQL and database design.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Good understanding of RESTful web services and API design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end development technologies such as Vue.js, React.js, or AngularJS.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
