About the position

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level PHP Developer with over 5 years of industry experience to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on building scalable PHP applications, solving complex problems independently, and may involve working with GoLang. The position is based on-site in Dublin, Ohio, with hybrid opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and security.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Identify and resolve issues independently.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve our development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in PHP development.
• Extensive knowledge of building, deploying, and debugging PHP applications.
• Solid understanding of MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of GoLang is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
