About the position

Momentum3 is seeking a Full-Stack/PHP Developer to join their innovative team in a hybrid work environment. This role focuses on developing scalable applications using PHP, Symfony, React, and Redux, while collaborating closely with clients to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, emphasizing clean, maintainable code and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document project requirements by working closely with clients to ensure solutions meet business goals
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that enhances our products
• Develop front-end elements and server-side code using the LAMP stack
• Customize, integrate, and extend open-source content management systems (CMS)
• Optimize applications for high performance and responsiveness
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data
• Deliver on project plans and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Follow agency processes for testing, approval, and routing
• Assist IT in server management, including periodic after-hours support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience in PHP development
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders
• Ability to work in dynamic client environments and adjust solutions based on evolving business needs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform challenges
• Expertise in PHP, Symfony, React, Redux, SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), Laravel, JavaScript/Angular/React/Vue, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and version control (Git, GitHub)
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodology and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, osCommerce)
• Experience with REST-based web services and MVC design patterns
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux command line and responsive design

Nice-to-haves

• C#/.NET experience
