About the position

The PHP Developer position is a remote contract role focused on developing and testing web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of front-end technologies and experience with object-oriented PHP programming, as well as proficiency in various programming and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test web applications using PHP and front-end technologies.
• Utilize object-oriented programming principles in PHP development.
• Perform data analysis and database administration tasks.
• Work with REST web APIs and JSON for application integration.
• Communicate technical information effectively to customers.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Experience in object-oriented PHP programming.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, PHP, Java, PowerShell, Perl, VBScript, Windows batch scripting).
• Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix platforms.
• Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
