Responsibilities

• Following lesson plans provided by the Teacher
• Managing the classroom effectively
• Adapting teaching methods to fit the needs of students
• Supervising students in and out of the classroom
• Providing in-class assignments based on the available lesson plan
• Maintaining a neat, well-organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy
• Clear and consistent communication
• Implementing thorough knowledge of Montessori's philosophy and the school's mission and vision
• Serving as a model of behavior and philosophy to students, parents, and the support staff
• Working effectively as a member of a team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• CA credential (or in process)
• Teaching experience with children
• Classroom management skills

• Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment
