About the position

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is seeking a Non-Interventional Physiatrist to join its expanding PM&R department. The role involves diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, focusing on non-operative treatments to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The position emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and adherence to evidence-based healthcare practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide array of medical conditions including post-stroke amputees, spinal care, traumatic brain injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Collaborate closely with physiatrists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, pain medicine specialists, and addiction medicine specialists.
• Focus on non-operative treatment methods to achieve optimal outcomes for patients.
• Utilize electrodiagnostic medicine and manage conditions such as spasticity care and peripheral neuropathies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved PM&R training program.
• Licensed in the State of Texas.
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
